KAUST Weather information is linked to KAUSTCentral app. Current outdoor conditions are brought to you by KAUST HSE department based on Air Quality Index (AQI).
AQI is updated every 15 minutes, and it tells you how clean or polluted your outdoor air is, along with associated health effects that may be of concern.
KAUSTCentral app is designed to notify app users when AQI transitions to “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups” level or a poorer level, considering that NO notifications should be sent between the blackout period (21:00 and 7:00) to minimize the number of notifications as per KAUSTCentral App protocol.
