Micromobility includes electric and human-powered scooters, bicycles, and similar devices. KAUST supports their safe use to reduce vehicle-related risks and promote sustainability. Electric micromobility devices may be ridden on cycle lanes and on KAUST roads. On the Academic Campus, only ride electric-powered micromobility on the pathway behind Buildings 2 to 5. Electric-powered micromobility may only be used in other areas when in human-powered mode.
