Participants will receive a branded Community Pace Car tag to hang from their rear-view mirror. This visible identifier signals your commitment to safe driving and encourages others to follow safe speeds.
No. Pace Car participants do not enforce rules, stop vehicles, or confront other drivers. Your role is to lead by example through safe driving.
Do not engage. Continue driving safely and allow the vehicle to pass when it is safe to do so.
No. You should drive at or below the posted speed limit, but never in a way that disrupts normal traffic flow or creates unsafe conditions.
Maintain safe driving behavior and, where appropriate, allow vehicles to pass safely. Do not attempt to control or block other drivers.

The decal should only be used in accordance with program guidance and on registered vehicles and riders. Misuse may result in removal from the program.

The Pace Car Initiative is a behavior-based, voluntary program that complements existing road safety measures, including traffic enforcement, the traffic violation penalty point system, and awareness and training programs.
Yes. While we hope participants will remain active in the program, participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time by notifying the HSE Department at hse@kaust.edu.sa
