COVID-19 Pulse Survey

Published in 24 January, 2021

Dear community members,

Last November, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), in collaboration with the Institutional Reporting and Data Governance team, sent all community members the HSE Pulse Survey. By filling the survey, you provided us with your insights, feedback and level of satisfaction with the measures taken by KAUST in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

You were 1,688 who shared your feedback, input and ideas and provided us with a temperature check of the community’s sense of safety and awareness over the past year.

Here are some highlights from the survey:

The survey has also highlighted potential areas of concern which mainly revolved around personal wellbeing, safety, social and economic stability.

Your feedback allows us to continue improving performance, convey your concerns to our Senior Leadership Team on issues that matter to you the most, and have a more accurate picture of how you feel.

HSE is dedicated to Keeping KAUST safe and has placed multiple measures to mitigate the transmission of the diseas, namely:

  • Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines
  • Frequent testing
  • Antibody testing
  • NOVID app
  • Health Risk Assessments
  • HSE website (COVID Operations Hub)

These measures and actions resulted in obtaining a high sense of safety at KAUST.

KAUST Health Safety and Environment are pleased to provide an executive summary of the results.
